Pete and Josephine Bertolo started their first restaurant in 1978 and opened Bertolo's Pizza On Pelham in 1995, our pizzeria brings a rich taste of tradition to South Carolina. Originally hailing from Sicily, Pete and Josephine first journeyed to New York before setting roots in Greenville, where they shared their passion for authentic New York-style pizza with the community.

As one of the first pizzerias in Greenville to offer true New York-style pizza, we pride ourselves on using only the highest-quality ingredients. From shredding our cheese in-house to making our dough and sauce by hand, we believe in upholding the craftsmanship that defines our unique flavor.
